MISSION
To help maintain and enhance the active lifestyle of individuals participating in action sports by designing and producing state-of-the-art Knee Protection Systems, as well as other protective and performance-enhancing devices utilizing our advanced technological design concepts. Asterisk also provides the pertinent information needed to improve your knowledge of the knee and its biomechanics, giving you the tools to make the best choices for your needs, period.

HISTORY
Asterisk was started by a group of athletes, including several motocross riders with extensive backgrounds in the design and use of orthopedic devices. The motivation behind the formation and growth of the company was, and still is, to bring state-of-the-art protection and performance-enhancing products directly to the athletes. Asterisk introduced the Cell Knee Protection System as its first product back in April of 2001 to satisfy the need for high-level knee protection, making them available directly to athletes at an affordable price. In May of 2006, Asterisk introduced The Germ Knee Protection System, designed specifically for kids. Paralleling the form, fit, and function of the best orthopedic knee braces, Asterisk's knee protection systems are a giant leap forward in design and affordability.

FUTURE
Asterisk is currently making progress toward completing an entire line of Knee Protection Systems, ultimately exceeding the demands of athletes worldwide. Equally as revolutionary as rubber was for tires, Asterisk is also currently conceiving and designing additional products to further improve athlete safety and comfort while enhancing overall sport performance. Continuing to design and produce the best, most state-of-the-art products available, Asterisk has plans to diversify into other sports' markets with additional sport-specific product lines.

Extremely proud to continue all design and manufacturing processes in house to ensure the highest quality available, the Asterisk facilities include mold making, injection molding, rapid prototyping, machining, and a myriad of other design techniques and equipment. With these capabilities and technologies all at our fingertips, Asterisk is capable of reacting quickly to any production or market needs, thereby meeting and exceeding development goals for future products and demands.
